We have a long and proud
history as the first EAA chapter to

established in the Greater
Dayton area.
EAA 48 has won the Engineers Club of Dayton's Charbonneaux
Award
for contributing to the "understanding of science and technology"
by youngsters in the Dayton area. June 2008.

Chapter 48 is well known for
its annual fly-in "Funday-Sunday" the first Sunday in May.
This event serves as the kickoff event for the local flying season.
Chapter member projects include; homebuilt, kit built and restoration
projects.
Activities include; regular fly-outs for food, fun and camaraderie.
