EAA Chapter 48, Moraine, Ohio
  We have a long and proud history as the first EAA chapter to
be established in the Greater Dayton area.


EAA 48
has won the Engineers Club of Dayton's Charbonneaux Award
for contributing to the "understanding of science and technology"
by youngsters in the Dayton area. June 2008.

The EAA’s restored, 1929 Ford Tri-Motor will stop at Dayton Wright Brothers Airport
from June 26-29.  EAA Chapter 48 is supporting the visit. Book a flight for $50

Chapter 48 is well known for its annual fly-in "Funday-Sunday" the first Sunday in May. 
This event serves as the kickoff event for the local flying season.
Chapter member projects include; homebuilt, kit built and restoration projects. 
Activities include; regular fly-outs for food, fun and camaraderie.
